Change of eligibility for Seniors State Wide Challenge 2022-23
Bowls Australia has announced today that Perth WA will host The Nationals in 2023 and 2026. The event in 2023 will be held later that this year – with the dates being 6 – 20 October 2022.
The Australian Senior Sides Championships will be held from 8 – 11 October 2023. To be eligible to be selected in Tasmania’s Senior Side, players must be 60 years of age or above as of the first day of the event (8 October 2023). Our current SWC Conditions of Play mentions 1 October 2023 as the date of eligibility to play in Seniors SWC. This will be amended before the second round of SWC on 17 January 2023 to read 8 October 2023 to coincide with eligibility for The Seniors Nationals.
