Cremorne family take out BPL State Cup Final
Congratulations to Cremorne’s Ash, Reiley and Mitchell Banks who won the BPL Tasmanian BPL Cup Final at Howrah yesterday. In a sensational grand-final game that went down to the last bowl, Cremorne defeated Wynyard’s Sam McLean, Mark Nitz and Adrian Feltham 2-7, 8-0 and 1-0 in the tiebreaker.
In the semi-finals Cremorne defeated Port Sorell’s Amity Bickley, Codi Marshall and Daniel Carr 5-2, 2-10 and 2-0 in the tiebreaker and Wynyard defeated Brighton’s Matthew Breward, Riley Banks and Jo Leslie in straight sets 8-4 and 10-1.
The Cremorne family have won a trip to Club Pine Rivers in November 2024 to contest the Australian finals of the BPL Cup which will be held in conjunction with BPL#20 from 11-15 November 2024.
