Senior Championships 2025 – Launceston

DATE:

Sunday 9 February – Wednesday 12 February 2025 commencing at 9.30am each day.

VENUE:

Launceston Area – The Host Club is North Launceston and other clubs being used are Trevallyn and Cosgrove Park.

SCHEDULE OF PLAY
Sunday 9 February:	Men’s Fours Sectional Play – Trevallyn. Women’s Fours Sectional Play – Trevallyn.
Monday 10 February:	Men’s Pairs Sectional Play – North Launceston and Cosgrove Park. Women’s Pairs Sectional Play – Trevallyn.
Tuesday 11 February:	Men’s Pairs Post-Sectional Play – North Launceston Women’s Pairs Post-Sectional Play – North Launceston Men’s & Women’s Fours Finals – North Launceston
Wednesday 12 February:	Men’s & Women’s Pairs Finals – North Launceston

ELIGIBILITY:

Players must be 60 years of age by the first day of the competition.

LIVE STREAMING:

Bowls Tasmania will be live streaming one of the Senior Fours Grand Finals on Tuesday 11 February 2025 at 3.00pm and one of the Senior Pairs Grand Finals on Wednesday 12 February 2025 at 1.00pm on the Bowls Tasmania Facebook page. 

FORMAT OF PLAY:

Pairs:

Four (4) bowl crossover (2 x 2 x 2 x 2).

Sectional, Post Sectional, Quarter & Semi Finals – 12 ends

Grand Final – 15 ends

Fours:

Two (2) bowl fours.

Sectional, Post Sectional, Quarter & Semi Finals – 15 ends.

Grand Final – 18 ends.
