Maughan wins Tasmanian Men’s Section of Australian Indoor Qualifying Singles Championships
Congratulations to Glenorchy Rodman’s Isaac Maughan (pictured) who won the Tasmanian Men’s Section of the Australian Indoor Qualifying Singles Championships which were played at the Howrah Indoor Bowls Centre on Friday and Saturday with finals on Sunday. In a high-standard grand final, Maughan defeated Sandy Bay’s Steve Graf in straight sets 13-0 and 8-8. In the semi-finals, Maughan defeated Kingborough’s Callum Dinning 8-3, 8-7 and Graf beat George Town’s Michael Shingles 6-6, 8-6.
