COVID-19 AND BOWLS IN TASMANIA
The impacts of ongoing COVID outbreaks to travel, health and the ability to get on with life are topical all over the world. The impact on the bowls community has also been significant with events cancelled, travel restrictions impacting events and participants, frequent stay at home orders and constant border closures.
Bowls Tasmania is aware that many members of the bowls community have already been fully or partially vaccinated and we encourage and support them in following current health orders to do this.
Bowls Tasmania would encourage its own staff, Board members, State selectors and players and all other players to consider getting vaccinated as soon as possible.
Bowls Tasmania acknowledges that everyone has a right to decide to be vaccinated and we respect their human rights in doing so.
