For those of you that missed the previous media release about this ‘New Look’ qualifying event, please read below.
Tassal Confirmed as new Sponsors for the New Look Tas Indoor Qualifying.
Bowls Tasmania is delighted to announce the addition of a new corporate partner.
We have secured an arrangement with our naming rights sponsor TASSAL, Tasmania’s esteemed producer of outstanding salmon, to contribute towards the staging of the Tasmanian Indoor Championships. The event will be staged at the Kingborough Indoor Centre on 27-29 June 2014.
The event will revert to a tournament style affair, with entry by participants directly to Bowls Tasmania.
This year, 2 males and 1 female will earn entry into the well-regarded Australian Indoor Championships, held at Tweed Heads on 18-21 August.
With the involvement of TASSAL, there will be substantial reward for success at the Tasmanian event, including assistance by Bowls TAS to the eventual qualifiers.
The new format, and financial support to the winners, should ensure a healthy number of entrants.
As a result, Bowls Australia may allocate more Tasmanian qualifiers in the 2015 Aust Indoor, which can only help to give increased opportunity to Tasmanian Bowlers.
