Congratulations Garry Beven OAM
Congratulations to former Bowls Tasmania and Bowls North President Garry Beven on being awarded an OAM in today’s Australia Day honours for his service to bowls and a host of other community groups within Tasmania.
Garry has been a tremendous contributor to bowls at Club, Regional and State level and has always given a great deal to our sport. Garry was President of Bowls Tasmania from 2013 to 2018, following earlier roles with Bowls North including President, Board Member and Match Committee member, and he has also held key roles at Cosgrove Park Bowls Club, including President and Bar Manager.
