Positions Vacant – Bowls Tasmania Board Directors
Bowls Tasmania is calling for nominations for coming or existing vacancies on the Bowls Tasmania Board:
- Northen Woman
- Southern Man
- North West Woman (Casual Vacancy)
- Northern Man (Casual Vacancy)
The first two mentioned positions are currently held by Jane Pickett and Bernard Knight respectively (Jane is eligible to re-nominate for the Northern Woman position if she wishes to, however Bernard has served his maximum two terms and is ineligible to re-nominate). The Bowls North West Woman position has been vacant since last year and the Northern Man position has recently become vacant.
Positions on the Board are honorary. The Board meets monthly. Meetings may be scheduled in-person or in the most part virtually via the use of technology. Additionally, all Board Directors are likely to fill positions on one or more sub-committees of the Board.
Successful applicants must have or obtain a current Working with Vulnerable People Card.
Properly completed nomination forms – which can be obtained by contacting Bowls Tasmania – must by lodged with the relevant regional authority by COB 12 May 2025. Late nominations will not be accepted.
