Bowls Tasmania South Men and Women take out Senior SWC Championships
Congratulations to the Bowls Tasmania South Senior Men’s and Women’s teams who won the Bowls Tasmania Senior Men’s and Women’s Senior SWC trophies for 2024-25 at North Launceston on Tuesday.
The Bowls Tasmania South Men won with a total of 40 points from Bowls North West who were second with 32 points and Bowls North third on 15 points.
The Bowls Tasmania South Women won with a total of 32 points from Bowls North on 26 points and Bowls North West on 18 points.

The final two rounds of Open SWC will be held at North Launceston on Sunday 2 March 2025. In the Men’s competition, Bowls North West are leading on 24 points from Bowls Tasmania South on 20 points and Bowls North on 8 points. In the Women’s competition, Bowls North hold a handy lead on 26 points from Bowls Tasmania South on 13 points and Bowls North West on 11 points.
The overall SWC champions will also be crowned on Sunday with anyone in with a chance to win the title. Bowls North West has a narrow lead with 128 points from Bowls Tasmania South on 126 points and Bowls North on 118 points. A copy of the accumulative ladder can be found on HERE.
