Bowls Tasmania’s State Junior Championships continued today at the Longford Bowls and Community Club with sectional play in the boys and girls singles championships.

In the Boys Junior Singles Championship, sectional play winners were Fletcher Felmingham, Riley Davie, Lachie Thurley and Ollie Morrison, all of whom went through the sectional play undefeated.   In the semi-finals tomorrow, Felmingham will play Davie whilst Thurley will face off against Morrison.  The winners will meet in the grand final.

The Girls Junior Singles Championships are being played as sectional play with every player playing each other over five rounds.     After three rounds, Miley Sutton remains undefeated winning all three games played and only has to win her final game against Jessie Willis to win the championship.    Nakia Daines and Imogen Patmore won one of their two games today and have to play two games tomorrow and are still in the hunt to win the championship.
