VALE Bob Franklin
It is with deep regret that Bowls Tasmania announces that Bob Franklin passed away on Wednesday this week at the Launceston General Hospital after major surgery. Bob was 78.
Bob was a member of the Bowls Tasmania Senior Men’s State Selection Panel and was also a Selector for the Bowls North West Men’s Senior Side.
Bob was a member of several bowls’ clubs on the North-West Coast including Ulverstone for the last six years and Penguin before that and was very well known in bowls circles.
Bob was a hard-working administrator and served as a Director of Bowls North West for many years.
Bob gave outstanding and dedicated service to bowls in Tasmania and particularly on the North-West Coast over many years.
