EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST – 2022 BOWLING ARM STATE TEAM
Expressions of interest are sought from Tasmanian bowlers who wish to be considered for selection in the State Bowling Arm Team to compete in the 2022 National Bowling Arm Sides Championships to be held at Warnbro, Western Australia, from 5 to 9 September 2022.
The team will consist of 18 armed bowlers (including 3 reserves) and a team manager. The team must have at least 3 women and 3 men bowlers in it.
It is proposed that the team travel to Warnbro on Saturday, 3 September and, depending on flight availability, return to Tasmania on either 10 or 11 September. Team members will be self-funded, with airfare, ground travel and accommodation costs expected to be approximately $1200 to $1800. A small subsidy will be provided towards these costs by the Bowling Arm Committee using funds raised for this purpose.
Armed Bowlers wishing to be considered for inclusion in the team should advise their details to Gordon Hurst , Secretary, Bowling Arm Committee at gordonhurst@telstra.com, no later than 20 April 2022. It is expected that team selection will be finalised by early June with successful bowlers notified shortly after.
