New CEO Announced

As you all will be aware Bowls Tas recently lost the services of our CEO Rebecca Van Asch. I would like to take this opportunity to publicly acknowledge the sterling service she has given to this role and that of positive promotion of the Sport for Bowls Tas. A great job Bec, many thanks and all the best as you embark on the next phase of your career as High Performance Manager at Bowls Australia.

I am pleased to announce that after a rigorous selection process we have appointed Bec’s successor in the CEO role. The successful applicant is Rob McGuire of Hobart.

Many of you will know Rob through his association with Bowls South, having been Secretary for the past seven years.

Rob will officially start with us on August 16th and I look forward to having him onboard.

I would like for all of you in the Bowls Community of Tasmania to join with me in wishing Rob all the best in this exciting chapter of our Sport.
