Open Test Teams Announced
The Tasmanian Open Teams to take on Victoria in the upcoming Test Matches have been announced. This years series was originally set to be held in Melbourne but due to recent events the series has been reversed to take place here in Tasmania July 16-18, at a venue to be confirmed in the coming days.
Three debutants will take to the greens for their first time in the Tasmanian Open Team. Isaac Maughan has earnt his first call up to the Open ranks after claiming his maiden open title this year in the State Mixed Pairs, while Will Coad who amassed 3 State Titles over the past 2 years has also earnt his opportunity. Crystal Brooks will make her debut in the Women’s Team after her breakthrough performance in the State Women’s Fours winning combination this year.
