Ryman & Ormerod in the hunt for Gold
Our Bowlers with a Disability continue to strive at the Multi-Bowl National Disability Championships in Western Australia.
After experiencing a few near misses in the triples the team found their feet in the pairs. Off the back of winning the inaugural Tasmanian Bowlers with a Disability Pairs Championship in January, Alan Ryman and Rick Ormerod have joined forces once again in their first crack at the nationals.
After winning their way through their section, the Tassie duo found themselves up against NSW. They kept the fine form going to win 26-8, they will now take on the defending champions, Victoria in the final on Friday.
Our other pairs combination of Stephen Lockey and James Amos also teamed up in the, but didn’t have as good fortune in their section.
