Under 18 Team for National titles announced
The teams for the 2017 Under 18 National Championships have been selected. These 10 players will be travelling to NSW to play at the Taren Point Bowls Club on the 30th September until the 2nd of October, taking on the other States and Territories to try and walk away with a medal from their discipline. Last year Tasmania won 2 Silver Medals, could a Gold be on the horizon with this team?
In the boys team, there were two players from the 2016 team that were now too old to play, with the three other players from last year Isaac Maughan, Josh Walker-Davis & Lachie Sims maintaining their spots in the team. Isaac will be hoping to make it back to back medals after winning Silver in the Triples last year. The two players who will be joining the team are Patrick Oldham & Kyron Daly.
In the girls team, Logan Curtis & Ebony White are the only players retained from the 2016 team, both having won Silver in the Triples last year. They will be joined by Jorja Maughan, Lauren Banks & Casey Cornish.
