Veolia State Wide Challenge – Senior RD3
Tomorrow will see the conclusion of the Veolia State Wide Challenge for season 2015/16 when the Senior contest their final round of the event at the New Norfolk Bowls Club.
Bowls South will claim the Master Overall Veolia State Wide Challenge shield for the second year in a row however the men’s and women’s senior shields are very much up for grabs.
In the women’s event the North hold a 20 point lead over the South, however with the south have the home ground advantage of hosting their second side they have a possible 56 points up for grabs.
While in the men’s division the North West will be trying to replicate the performance of their Open team with a 3 point lead on the South going into this round. However the South again having the joys of hosting their second side this round have the double points up for grabs and sit in the box seat to snatch the crown.
