The intensity in ladies pennant is gathering momentum.
With 5 games left the top 4 positions in all divisions look pretty well settled, with the middle order teams in with a chance but the odds are stacked against them.
Division 1 as of Wednesday 10th February the top four are Latrobe 128 points, Penguin 122, South Burnie 112 points and Devonport 108, Ulverstone sits in 5th on 72 points.
The remaining games should not see much change to the top four however Devonport have a tough run home meeting the the top 3 sides and the power houses of the competition Latrobe and Penguin do battle on the 3rd March, this game will decide who takes top spot leading into the finals.
Division 2 top four is a close affair with Port Sorrell sitting on top with 108 points followed closely by Spreyton on 100, Penguin 95 and Wynyard 91. South Burnie sits in 5th on 80 points a few good games from them could see them playing finals.
Division 3 top four is also a close affair with South Burnie atop on 103 points followed by Latrobe 100, Port Sorell 99 and Spreyton making up the top 4 on 90 points, Sheffield are in 5th on 77 points. Some of these Clubs will meet in the remaining games so the ladder has the potential to change.
Division 4 looks a lot more settled with Latrobe on 104, combined team Devonport/East Devonport 102, Ridgley 93 and Ulverstone 82 followed closely by Viewmont on 81 points.
All finals commence on Tuesday 15th March.
Good bowling to all in the final few games.
