Aus Indoor Championships Day 1
Congratulations to Sonia Martyn our first Tasmanian through to the second round of the Australian Indoor Championships after winning this mornings encounter in straight sets 10-7, 11-6.
She will play again at 6pm tonight against the winner of Australian legends Gordana Baric and Karen Murphy.
Rosie Geeves couldn’t fend off defending champion Jamie-Lee Worsnop going down 2-8, 5-8 in her first round match.
In the men’s, defending champion David Holt also showed his strength against our Darren Monks 14-3, 8-6.
