Bowls Tasmania will be staging their qualifying leg for the tournament at the Kingborough Indoor Centre on the 2nd and 3rd of May.  Friday 1st May could be required if entries exceed those able to be played over 2 days.
Tasmania has 4 qualifying spots in the main draw of the $30,000 Australian Indoor Championships.  We have maintained our 2 spots in the men’s field, while we have been increased to 2 spots again in the women’s field due to our increase in entries last year.  There will be financial assistance to the successful qualifiers for this event.
Tasmanian competitors have had much success in this event in the past.  In the past three years we have had 2 semi final finishes in the women’s section and a runner up in the men’s section.
