Bowls Tasmania Events Calendar
Bowls Tasmania has today released it’s events calendar for this coming Season 2014/15.
This season will mark the introduction of co-hosting the Men’s and Women’s State Championships at the same time and in the same region. This will first take place in January 2nd – 9th 2015 in the North of the State with the Men’s and Women’s Singles, Pairs and Fours taking place at the same time to create a blockbuster week of Tasmania’s ultimate Lawn Bowls Championships on display.
Although hosted at separate venues throughout the Northern Region of the State for the majority of the Championships this can been seen as a great opportunity for families and friends to get away for a week together playing the sport for all ages and abilities. With what is hoped to created a tremendous atmosphere for players and spectators alike, Bowls Tasmania is hoping to make this a spectacle for Lawn Bowls in Tasmania.
This will also culminate in the Men’s and Women’s Tasmanian Triples Championships also being held together within the Devonport Municipality from March 7th – 9th 2015, with the Devonport City Council once again coming on board as the sponsors for this event.
Entry forms for all Tasmanian Events will be published in October 2014.
