Introducing Alex Elwell
Alex Elwell is our newest member of our Men’s State Team, having only played 1 game for Tasmania prior to these Sides Championships getting an unexpected call up for the last game of the French Holbrook Series against Victoria last December. However it was clearly an impressive debut earning Elwell, otherwise known as the ‘Assassin’, a call up in the biggest series of them all. Having taken the game up some 10 years ago after watching his father and brothers play pennant, the Assassin decided to try his hand at the game. Another one of our players to come through the junior ranks, Elwell is our lead for Robert McMullen’s rink.
