Veolia Environmental Services Statewide Pennant Champions!
View the 2014 Veolia Environmental Services Statewide Pennant Winners here. This years Statewide Pennant has been run and won. The Northern Women were the first to claim their shield, wrapping up proceedings after a 2 rink win overall victory in the morning against the Under 25 team, while the Southern ladies lost overall to the North West. With a ‘dead rubber’ in the afternoon the women from the South showed a strong fight to the end claiming full points on the North to only miss out on the top billing by 1 lonely point.
The Men’s section was a very close encounter right to the end, with the afternoon round of North versus North West 1 to determine this years victors. The North West again proved too strong going on to claim another Statewide Pennant trophy by a mere 1 rink, 2 points. The Under 18’s shield also proved to be a close competition with the Northern boys managing to hold their lead to seal the deal to top the leader board.
